The village of Cascais has a wide range of aquatic activities. Go sailing, fishing, boat-touring, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, or scuba-diving in the clean Atlantic waters - or bike, rollerblade or just stroll along the boardwalk connecting Cascais with the beach at Guincho, venue for one of the stages of the Windsurfing World Cup. For golfers the area offers eighteen courses for all handicaps.

After dark

Among the narrow streets and typical old Cascais-style houses are a variety of pubs and bars. Recommended: “Largo de Camões” and the “Jardim da Cerveja”.

Casino Estoril for gambling and entertainment

The Casino Estoril is Europe’s largest casino and a major attraction. There is a complete range of gambling activities and the casino entertainment program has a reputation on its own. Many major international stars have performed at the Black and Silver Salon, Portugal’s most famous music hall.
